Phlebotomy blood draw services that suit your needs, from £50

Functional medicine testing can sadly be more painful than it needs to be – peeing/pooping into ridiculously tiny containers that you then need to store somewhere (the horror of hiding samples in the kitchen fridge!), swabbing cheek cells, labelling tiny tubes, finding someone to draw your blood, organising the DHL/Fedex/UPS despatch…

Here at Progressive Wellness we know that the process for the blood test kits can be overwhelming, and so we provide an all-inclusive blood draw service for our functional medicine testing clients. This is the service for you if you have your blood test kit already and you just need someone to draw and process the sample for you. A phlebotomy appointment in my private London clinic, where I can prioritise your safety, wellbeing, and comfort, because nobody should need to dread having their bloods taken.

We will manage absolutely everything for you, including processing (e.g. centrifugation, refrigeration, freezing), courier despatch, paperwork – you really do just need to bring your veins and test kit (but we can manage even if you forget your kit)

And if you have completed other tests (urine/stool/saliva) that also need despatching, we’ll be more than happy to despatch these for you too on the day of your blood draw.

No one likes getting a blood draw, and all too often the experience could be a lot better … factory styled approaches, impersonal and indifferent service, no guarantee of getting experienced staff … and generally the kind of thing that makes anyone nervous of blood draws, even more nervous!

Not the case here at all – in fact, it’s been one of the best experiences that I could hope for (of course I’d prefer not to have it done at all!) … To start with, no queues at all – I booked a slot and had Kate 100% focused on my session. Kate is very experienced and immediately set me at ease, she spent a lot of time understanding my needs (and anxieties!) and also very helpfully took care of all the admin work that goes with getting those increasingly common ‘send in the mail’ testing kits (she even trekked over to the post office to mail one kit off for me!). Amazing customer service – which is really what it’s all about – going the extra (many) miles. (Also – Kate uses WhatsApp and is very responsive, and I had a call with her to prepare everything for the session – which I found to be really helpful, and have never gotten with blood draw services I used to go to).

I highly recommend Kate, and will definitely be back (if regrettably I need more tests done). Thank you Kate!

Non-Centrifuged Blood Draw

Phlebotomy service plus courier despatch (DHL/Fedex/UPS)

If your blood test kit requires you to have blood drawn and then despatched via courier, this is the appointment you need.

With one flat fee of £50, whether it’s one tube or 15 tubes, or even if you have multiple test kits (assuming none of the kits require centrifugation) you can get back to work and leave your blood samples with us, safe in the knowledge that they will be despatched on time.

This service is also suitable if you’ve got a finger-prick test kit, but have struggled to obtain a sufficient sample to fill the tube – we can draw the sample from your vein, and transfer it to the finger-prick container for you.

Centrifuged Blood Draw

Phlebotomy service with centrifugation and storage, plus courier despatch (DHL/Fedex/UPS)

If your blood test kit requires you to have blood drawn, and for some or all of the sample to be centrifuged (spun at high speed) and stored in the fridge/freezer before being despatched via courier, this is the appointment you need.

With one flat fee of £100, whether it’s one tube or 15 tubes, or even if you have multiple test kits, you can get back to work and leave your blood samples with us, safe in the knowledge that they will be despatched on time.

Phlebotomy Services for dental clinics offering PRF

If you are a dentist working in a private dental surgery, and are trained in PRF for dental extractions and implants, but you hold back on offering this service to more clients because you struggle with difficult veins, Kate Knowler offers a mobile phlebotomy service.

From £150, Kate will attend your client’s dental appointment, draw and process their PRF sample observing ANTT and sterile field protocols, leaving you with the PRF sample to be used in the dental procedures you do best.
